Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Policy

Scope

Learners with relevant prior certification or documented practice may apply to have it recognised, for example to start at an Advanced level.

Evidence

• Copies of certificates with syllabus or study hours.
• Written case studies or practice records.
• A short assessment set by the Academy where needed.

Decision

Applications are reviewed within 15 working days. RPL can exempt entry requirements but final assessments for our own certificate must still be passed.

Review
