PREVENT Policy

Our duty to help prevent people being drawn into extremism.

Commitment

The Academy promotes mutual respect, tolerance and the rule of law, and will not allow its platforms or classes to be used to promote extremist views.

Actions

  • Trainers are aware of signs of radicalisation.
  • Community spaces are moderated.
  • External speakers are vetted.
  • Concerns are escalated to the Designated Safeguarding Lead and, where required, the authorities.

Review
