Safe handling of essential oils and other substances.

Scope

Covers essential oils, carrier oils, cleaning products and any other substance used in practical sessions.

Controls

Safety data sheets kept for oils and products used.
Correct dilution rates taught and followed.
Patch testing and allergy checks before skin application.
Oils stored closed, labelled and away from heat.
Spills cleaned immediately; good ventilation maintained.
