Accident Procedure Policy

What to do if someone is injured or unwell during in-person training.

Immediate steps

Make the area safe.
Call the trained first aider; call 999 in an emergency.
Do not move a seriously injured person unless in danger.
Inform the lead trainer.

Recording

All accidents and near misses are recorded in the accident log with date, time, people involved, injury and action taken, and reviewed to prevent recurrence.

Review
