Healing Courses in Abu Dhabi: Which Course to Start With When You Study Online

A simple guide for Abu Dhabi residents choosing between reiki, tarot, vastu, numerology and aromatherapy, and fitting online study into a full week.

If you live in Abu Dhabi and want to study healing, the simplest path is to choose one foundation course that matches why you are interested, then study it online in short weekly blocks. Reiki suits people drawn to calm and hands-on practice, tarot suits reflective thinkers, and vastu or numerology suit those who love structure. All my courses are taught online.

Students in Abu Dhabi often tell me the same thing: they would love to study with me, but the drive to Dubai and back is the problem. On a good day it is well over an hour each way along the E11, and after a full working week that rarely feels possible. Online study removes the drive completely, and you learn from your own home on the island, in Khalifa City, on Yas or Saadiyat, or in Al Reem.

Start with your reason, not the course title

Before choosing, write down in one line why you want to learn. The answer usually points to the right first course:

  • "I want to feel calmer and help my family relax." Start with reiki. It is gentle, practical and you can practise on yourself from the first week.
  • "I want to understand myself and the choices I keep facing." Start with tarot. It trains reflection, pattern-spotting and clear questions.
  • "I love homes, layouts and design." Start with vastu. Abu Dhabi has everything from older villas to new waterfront apartments, which makes it a wonderful place to observe space.
  • "I like numbers and systems." Start with numerology, especially if you already think in dates, names and patterns.
  • "I am drawn to scent and natural ingredients." Start with aromatherapy blends, and learn safe, careful use of oils.

You do not need to choose a career path on day one. Most people who later build a practice began simply because one subject would not leave them alone.

Fitting online study into an Abu Dhabi week

Many students in Abu Dhabi work in government, energy, education or healthcare, with early starts and a Saturday-Sunday weekend. A rhythm that works well:

  1. One live or recorded lesson a week, ideally on the same evening each week.
  2. Three short practice slots of 15 to 20 minutes: before work, after the school run, or before bed.
  3. One weekend review of your notes, usually Saturday morning when the home is quiet.

In summer, when it is too hot to be outside for long and many families travel, online study travels with you. You can carry on from a hotel room or a family home abroad and simply rejoin the schedule.

Thinking about a career in healing in Abu Dhabi

If you are considering healing as a second career, take it step by step. Learn properly, practise on yourself and willing friends for months, and keep careful notes. Before offering any paid service in the UAE, check the licensing and trade rules that apply to your activity and your emirate; they differ between activities and between emirates, so ask the relevant authority directly.

It is also important to be clear about what this work is. Reiki, tarot, vastu, numerology and aromatherapy are complementary and reflective practices. They are not medical treatment, and a responsible practitioner never promises to cure anything or replaces a doctor.

What studying online with me looks like

  • Clear lessons in simple English, with practice tasks after each one.
  • Time for questions, so you are never left guessing.
  • Material you can return to when you begin practising with others.
  • A small, kind group of fellow students from the UAE, the GCC and beyond.

You can compare every option on the courses page, and join the free Clarity Key Community to meet other learners before you decide. If you are unsure where you stand, the self-assessments on spujah.com are a gentle place to begin.

A first step you can take this week

Pick the subject from the list above that made you pause. Read one lesson outline, then ask yourself whether you would happily practise it three times a week for three months. If the answer is yes, that is your course.

Studying alongside family life in Abu Dhabi

Many of my Abu Dhabi students are parents, and the school calendar shapes their year. Term starts in late August, there is a winter break in December and a spring break around March or April, and the summer is long. I suggest planning your study the same way: begin a course at the start of a term, use the winter break for gentle revision rather than new material, and keep practice going lightly in the summer even while travelling. Short, regular practice will take you much further than one long weekend of catching up.

Studying online also means your family can see what you are learning. Many students find that a partner or teenager becomes curious and asks questions, and the home becomes a little calmer simply because someone in it is practising every day.
